Educators
EDV provides professional development for schools staff focussed on the identification, early intervention and prevention of eating disorders.
We work with students to help them learn about body satisfaction, self-esteem and self acceptance, and to promote an awareness of the dangers of dieting and of more flexible, relaxed ways to think about food.
We also provide speakers at community events to promote eating disorders awareness and spread the message of hope and recovery.
EDV does not provide treatment services, but works alongside treatment services to empower people with eating disorders and their families and friends to beat the eating disorder.
